Frequently asked questions
What Meror is, what it costs, how copying works and where the risks are. Something missing? Ask us.
What is Meror?
Meror shows you real traders with verifiable track records, drawn from public filings, public blockchains, venue leaderboards and licensed strategy feeds. You can follow them, copy them on paper with simulated money, or, once you have linked your own brokerage or exchange, copy them with real money.
Is Meror free?
Following traders and paper copying are free. Real-money copying needs Pro, which is US$9 a month or US$79 a year after a 3-day free trial. There are no other fees, and you can cancel any time. All payments are final; there are no refunds.
Where do the traders come from?
From sources that publish records anyone can check: regulatory filings by company insiders and funds, public blockchains and venue leaderboards such as Hyperliquid and OKX, prediction markets such as Polymarket, and licensed strategy feeds such as Collective2. Each trader page names the source, how long the record is and how quickly trades reach Meror.
How quickly are trades copied?
It depends on the source. Venue and on-chain sources reach Meror within seconds to a few minutes. Regulatory filings are published days or weeks after the trade and are shown with that delay; they suit tracking, not fast copying. Every trader page states its typical delay.
Does Meror hold my money?
No. Meror never holds customer funds. Real-money orders are placed at your own venue, in your own account, through a connection you authorise: Kalshi for prediction markets, OKX for crypto, and brokerages such as Wealthsimple, Webull, Questrade and moomoo through SnapTrade. You can pause or stop any copy at any time.
What if my broker cannot trade what a trader trades?
Meror checks before you start. If a trader trades crypto perpetuals and you have only linked a stock brokerage, you see a plain explanation and a button to link the right venue, or you can paper copy instead.
Can I lose money?
Yes. Copy trading carries the same risks as trading yourself, and copied trades can fill at different prices than the original. Past performance does not predict future results. Read the Risk Disclosure before copying with real money.
Is this investment advice?
No. Meror is software and information. It is not a broker-dealer, an exchange or an investment adviser, and nothing on the service is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
How do I cancel?
From Manage billing on the Upgrade page, which opens the secure Stripe portal. Cancelling stops the next charge; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Payments already made are not refunded.
How is my information protected?
Venue credentials are encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed and never stored, and cards are entered only on Stripe and never reach Meror. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected and why.
