Copy trading with Wealthsimple
Meror adds copy trading on top of your own Wealthsimple account. Pick a trader with a public record, copy them on paper for free, and link Wealthsimple through SnapTrade when you want real money. Every buy is put to you first, and nothing is placed until you say yes to that exact order.
Meror is not affiliated with Wealthsimple. It reaches your account through SnapTrade, a service that connects brokerage accounts to apps.
How to copy a trader with Wealthsimple
- Create a free account.
- Copy a trader on paper and watch the results.
- When you are ready, start Pro (US$9 a month after a 3-day free trial) and link Wealthsimple through SnapTrade.
- Approve each buy when it is put to you.
Linking Wealthsimple
Wealthsimple links with your Wealthsimple login, so it asks you to sign in again every few weeks. Meror checks your account before you copy anyone.
Meror sees your holdings and cash through the link. It never sees your Wealthsimple password.
What you can copy
Stock and ETF traders. Prediction markets and crypto perpetuals are paper-copy only in Canada.
Traders who report through filings, such as funds and members of Congress, publish days or weeks after they trade, so a copy of them follows late. Each profile states its delay.
You stay in control
Before a buy, Meror sends you the exact order: the stock, the size, the account and the price. You say yes or no. A sell can go without asking only under an exit you set up yourself, such as Stop or a profit target.
Nothing is bought until you say yes to that exact order.
Stock traders you can copy
Highest return first, from the live rankings.
