Copy trading in Canada

Copy trading means following another trader and making the same trades in your own account, in proportion to your money. Meror lets people in Canada do it with traders whose records are public: fund and insider filings, trades members of Congress disclose, exchange leaderboards and public blockchains.

You start on paper, with pretend money, for free. When you want real money, Meror works through your own brokerage account, and it never holds your money.

How to start

  1. Create a free account.
  2. Pick a trader. Each profile says where the record comes from and how long after a trade it is published.
  3. Copy them on paper. Pretend money follows their trades in proportion, so you see the results before you risk anything.
  4. When you are ready, start Pro: US$9 a month or US$79 a year, after a 3-day free trial. Then link your own brokerage through SnapTrade.
  5. Approve each buy when it is put to you.

What you can copy with real money

Stocks and ETFs, through a brokerage you link: Wealthsimple, Webull Canada or moomoo. Webull Canada and moomoo take whole shares only, and moomoo takes US-listed stocks and ETFs only.

Memecoin traders can be copied from your own Solana wallet. Prediction markets and crypto perpetuals are paper-copy only in Canada.

How fast a copy follows

It depends on where the trader publishes. Exchange boards and blockchains reach Meror in seconds to minutes. Filings arrive days or weeks after the trade: a member of the U.S. House reports up to 45 days after trading. Every profile states its delay.

You stay in control

Before a buy, Meror sends you the exact order: the stock, the size, the account and the price. You say yes or no. A sell can go without asking only under an exit you set up yourself, such as Stop or a profit target.

Nothing is bought until you say yes to that exact order.
