Paper trading in Canada

Paper trading is practice with pretend money. On Meror, everything is real except the cash: real traders with public records, real prices and real timing. You see what copying someone would have done before you risk anything.

Paper copying is free, and you do not need a brokerage account for it.

How to start paper copy trading

  1. Create a free account.
  2. Pick a trader. Each profile says where the record comes from and how long after a trade it is published.
  3. Choose an amount of pretend money and copy them on paper.
  4. Watch the copy follow their trades in proportion.

How a paper copy works

Meror splits your pretend amount the same way the trader splits their money. If 20% of their money is in one stock, 20% of your amount goes there too. When they buy or sell, your copy does the same, in proportion.

What you can copy on paper

Stock and ETF traders, funds and insiders from filings, trades members of Congress disclose, prediction-market traders, crypto traders and memecoin wallets. Prediction markets and crypto perpetuals are paper-copy only in Canada, so paper is the way to follow them.

When you want real money

When you are ready, start Pro: US$9 a month or US$79 a year, after a 3-day free trial. Link Wealthsimple, Webull Canada or moomoo through SnapTrade. Before a buy, Meror sends you the exact order: the stock, the size, the account and the price. You say yes or no. A sell can go without asking only under an exit you set up yourself, such as Stop or a profit target.

Nothing is bought until you say yes to that exact order.
