Standing Sell Instruction

Version standing-sells-v1

1. What it does

While this instruction is on for a copy, and the trader that copy follows sells or reduces a position the copy holds, Krishan Thushyanthan, carrying on business as Meror places the matching sell in the account the copy trades through without asking you first. The sell is sized by the same published rules as every other order and stays within the limits you set for the copy.

A sell counts as coming from the trader when the trader has sold some of that holding, and the sale is on record, since your copy last bought or sold it; until your copy next buys or sells that holding, a sell of it counts the same way. A holding that merely stops appearing in the trader's published record is not treated as a sale. Buys are not covered: every buy still waits for your yes. Neither is a sell that follows a change you make to your limits, money you add, or a resync you ask for, nor a sell after a price move when the trader has not sold since your copy last traded that holding; those are put to you as before. Nothing is placed this way while real-money copying is switched off, your plan does not include it, or your authorization for the account is not in force.

2. Your instruction

It is an instruction you give, for one copy at a time. It adds to, and for these sells overrides, the Copy-Trading Authorization you signed for the account the copy trades through, whichever version you signed, including any statement there that nothing is sent without your confirmation. When you start a copy from a wallet where Meror places the orders, the switch for it is already on, and starting the copy with it on gives the instruction; you can also turn it on later from the copy's card. You can turn it off at any time, and from then on every sell waits for your yes again. A sell already sent cannot be recalled.

While the copy is paused nothing is placed, these sells included; the instruction stays on and applies again when you resume, so a coin the trader sold while the copy was paused is sold when you resume. Stopping the copy, or revoking the Copy-Trading Authorization for its account, ends the instruction. So does a new version of this text, until you accept it.

We record when you gave it, for which copy, and under which version of this text.

3. Where it applies

It applies only where Meror places the order itself: at present, a Solana wallet connected with a trading key. A wallet that signs its own trades, and a brokerage, still ask you about each sell, so the instruction has no effect there.

4. Risks

A sell placed without asking you can fill at a price you would not have accepted, can sell a position you wanted to keep, and follows the trader's mistakes as well as their good calls. Memecoin prices move quickly and their pools can be thin, so a sell can fill far from the last price shown, or fail. After each sell placed this way you are told what was sold and why.
